Salvinia (Floating Plant)

You will receive 4 – 6 pieces, each piece has about 6 – 10 leaves on it. About half a hand full in total.

Common Name: Salvinia Minima

This plant grows really fast and tolerates a wide range of water conditions. It spreads very fast and in direct sunlight or high lighting it grows big and thick, but in a normal tank it is a much smaller plant. It is excellent at removing nitrates and ammonia from the water. The roots also provide places for fry to hide. In shipping the water will get on the top of the plant causing the leaves to brown. To minimize this we do not put much water in, only enough to keep the roots moist. The plant will bounce back in a few days so please be patient.
