Vesicularia dubyana common name Java Moss originates from Southeast Asia. Recommended for beginners, V. Dubyana has been a popular addition to aquariums worldwide for years due to the fact that as for most moss’s it is undemanding and easy to grow. V. Dubyana will grow in various conditions of light and nutrients. This plant can be grown submerged or emersed. Regular trimming is recommended to keep this plant under control and create the desired aquascape. A popular plant for the breeding of fish, live young will hide among the moss and eggs are often laid in the moss. Propagation is possible by splitting strands apart and replanting in suitable area.
