This plant is sold as 4 – 6 pieces around 10 – 15cm each

Common Name: Elodea or Water Weed

This plant grows really fast and tolerates a wide range of water conditions. Perfect for low light or cold water tanks but can go in your tropical tanks too – if you do not mind the ‘jungle’ looking planted tank because this plant will take over. It is primarily a floating plant but it will root itself too.

This plant is grown in outdoor tubs in the sun so please do not be alarmed if the leaves look orange, brown or red, this does not mean the plant is dying, in fact it is the opposite – it means the plant is thriving in high light conditions. It will most likely turn back to a vibrant green colour in an indoor tank.
